FMB4500-G 2K Urethane Primer Surfacer
FMB4500-G is a 4.3 VOC, National Rule 2K urethane primer surfacer. It works for both high-build and normal-build applications.
- Mix: 4:1 with FMB4501-S 2K Activator.
- Application: 2–4 wet coats, with a 5–10 minute flash between coats.
- Dry to sand: 3 hours.
It gives excellent adhesion, corrosion resistance and solvent resistance. Use an etching primer on any exposed bare-metal spots first.
FMB4400-G DTM Primer Surfacer
For VOC-restricted markets, FMB4400-G is a 2.1 low-VOC primer surfacer that goes direct to metal.
- Mix: 4:1 with FMB4401 DTM Primer Activator.
- Application: 2–3 wet coats, with an 8–10 minute flash between coats.
It covers breakthroughs and small bare-metal spots up to 6 inches without an etch primer. It works with all single-stage and basecoat/clearcoat systems. It also adheres well, resists corrosion, dries fast and sands easily, which makes it a strong pick for repairs and refinishing.
FMB4600 1K Acrylic Lacquer Primer Surfacer
FMB4600 is a 4.5 VOC, National Rule 1K primer.
- Mix: Thin 1:1 with FMB-AC-G acetone.
- Dry to sand: 30 minutes.
It fills well and sands easily, so it’s a fast option for small repairs.
