Finish Master by LKQ offers aerosol paints, primers and prep products for everyday refinish work, plus a line of direct-to-metal primers made to match factory colors. Mike, private label product manager for LKQ, recently walked through the lineup. Here is what’s available.
Acrylic Enamels and Lacquers
The acrylic enamel line comes in black in satin, gloss and flat finishes, plus a gloss white. The acrylic lacquer line comes in black in satin, flat and gloss.
Primers and Surfacers
For surface prep, the lineup includes:
- Light gray primer
- Etching primer
- Weld-through primer
- Black, white and gray primer surfacers, a slightly higher-build product with good sanding capability
Trim Paint and Adhesion Promoter
The premium trim black paint is designed to match the OEM finish on automotive trim and components. The adhesion promoter works on plastics, metals and primed surfaces.
Heat Coat Direct-to-Metal Primers
Mike calls the Heat Coat line a shining star of the aerosol range. These direct-to-metal primers come in six colors: black, olive green, light green, gray, tan and white. They are designed to match factory coating colors for under-hood areas, under-trunk areas and inner panels, which helps make OEM replication easier during refinish.
