Over the years, the LKQ Refinish division has expanded through acquisitions of well-known names within the industry such as Keystone Automotive Paint, Body and Equipment, AkzoNobel US company-owned store division, Max Auto, Cross Canada, and most recently, FinishMaster. This division has continuously grown and evolved over the decades while preserving our core values. As a company and as individuals, we strive to be the key factor in the success of our customers.

LKQ’s Company History
LKQ Corporation was initially formed in 1998 through a combination of wholesale recycled products businesses located in Florida, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. We subsequently expanded through internal development and approximately 270 acquisitions of aftermarket, recycled, refurbished, and remanufactured product suppliers and manufacturers, self-service retail businesses, and specialty vehicle aftermarket equipment and accessories suppliers.
